At Salix, we deliver complex environmental and river restoration projects in some of the most challenging and sensitive locations. To do this safely, efficiently and sustainably, we invest in our own specialist plant and equipment operated by our highly experienced and qualified in house team.
Owning and operating our machinery gives us full control over quality, safety and environmental impact, ensuring every project is delivered with precision and minimal impact on the environment. We continue to expand and adapt our machinery fleet, working with leading manufacturers to tailor equipment specifically for environmental engineering and habitat restoration. By refining machine design to reduce fuel use, limit ground disturbance and improve operational efficiency, we ensure our plant and methods are as sustainable as the projects we deliver.

Our Menzi Muck M540 Spider Excavator can reach places conventional excavators simply can’t.

Our Truxor DM 5000 is a highly manoeuvrable amphibious vehicle designed for maintenance and restoration of lakes, ponds, canals and rivers.

Our long-reach excavators are specially equipped for working in rivers, lakes and wetland environments where access is limited and soft ground conditions make standard machines unsuitable.

Our hydraulic seeding plant is used exclusively with our high-performance TerrAffix Mulches, a sustainable alternative to conventional hydroseeding and geotextile blankets.

For works on lakes, reservoirs and rivers, we operate a fleet of floating pontoons mounted with long-reach excavators.
