We also invest in automation and efficiency. Across our nurseries and manufacturing sites, technology is helping us to produce healthier plants, reduce waste and lower our energy use. From automated seed setting and precision irrigation to custom-designed reusable trays and pots, we are constantly finding new ways to cut resource consumption and minimise single-use plastic. These changes, combined with our peat-free growing media and careful water management, make our nurseries some of the most sustainable in the UK.
